2007 La Massa Toscana Giorgio Primo
"97 Points - Highly Recommended - Dark and brooding color. Intense aromas of lead pencil,
blackberries, black cherries and licorice. Full-bodied, with velvety and
polished tannins. Vanilla, berry and currants on the finish. Powerful and
complex. Built like a brick house. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
Best after 2013. 1,750 cases made. -JS"

2008 La Massa Toscana Giorgio Primo
"94 Points- A structured but balanced red. The polished, silky tannins caress the palate and deliver beautiful fruit, with plenty of currant, black olive and licorice character. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvingon and Petit Verdot. Best after 2013."

2008 La Massa La Massa
"90 Points- Deep ruby. Very ripe aromas of blackberry, sweet spices and vanilla, with a suggestion of roasted fruits. At once sweet and vinous, with juicy acidity lifting the flavors of blackcurrant, licorice and minerals. Finishes long, ripe and soft, with a note of licorice and considerable fleshiness. Those who appreciate soft, ripe wines will love this; I'd drink it over the next five or six years."
