| Arik Colbath is a life long Boston resident who has explored wines from all over the world with visits to Austria, France, Spain, Chile, Argentina and California. A passionate foodie, he has a very good palate and can pair any wine. Arik spent 3 years in the recruiting industry, 4 years in retail wine sales and has been with CRWC since 2006. Outside of being the tallest person in the room, Arik is very adept with marketing, customer service and explaining why CRWC is an added value to any business. When he isn't being passionate about showing Boston great wines with character and value, he is usually skiing or cooking.
Lou Gennaro is a retired computer executive who represents CRWC to the retail wine stores and restaurants on Nantucket, where he resides year round. His introduction to wine came at an early age when Lou assisted his Italian grandfather in making red and white table wine in the cellar of their family home in the Bronx, NY. Many sips and great meals later, Lou enjoys working with customers and consumers in the Nantucket market, bringing the wonderful wine offerings of CRWC to others who appreciate quality wines from around the world.
Stephanie Ponte brings with her a variety of professional experiences. As a native of Hingham and a BC graduate, she spent the first half of her career in the Hospitality Industry. After moving to Cape Cod over ten years ago, and spending some time at Ocean Edge Resort, she decided to follow her passion into the wine world. Her initial wine sales position was for a small fine wine distributor - who happened to have one big brand. Stephanie affectionately became known as “the Ravenswood girl”. Since those days, she has also worked at a larger fine wine house (Classic Wine Imports) as well as a small boutique wine shop in Sandwich. To Stephanie, being a ‘wine enthusiast’ means having an open mind to discovering something new, to learning the ‘story’ behind the wine, and to sharing your wine experiences with fellow enthusiasts.
Amanda Schark brings a decade of experience as a Wine Buyer and leader in a Fortune 100 company. As a Wine Specialist, certified with the Society of Wine Educators, Amanda has served as a wine judge, educator and business solution advisor.
When Amanda isn’t waxing poetic about the virtues of the Charles River Wine portfolio, you can find her traveling, enjoying her family, eating delicious food, practicing yoga and listening to a variety of music.
